Why are ABC aquatic specialists better prepared didactically?
At Acvatic Bebe Club, we are dedicated to the continuous development of aquatic education specialists, by participating in advanced courses and seminars supported by doctors, therapists and child development experts.
We want every child to have risk-free aquatic sessions, based on medical knowledge, careful observation, and a relationship of trust, empathy, and friendship with their specialist.
Our training program brings together information from essential areas such as neuroscience, psychology, pediatrics, and early education, giving specialists a deep understanding of how children develop in the first years of life: emotionally, cognitively, and motorically.
An essential didactic element in this training is the childcare courses taught by Dr. Mihaela Niță, a pediatrician with extensive experience in prevention and harmonious child development.
Appreciating our openness and the complexity of the topic, she enthusiastically responded to the challenge of holding courses dedicated to aquatic education specialists – a field still little explored in current medical practice.

"I developed these courses with great curiosity, discovering new things, scientific studies and examples of good practices. It was a joy to contribute to the formation of a team that truly values understanding the child", says Dr. Mihaela Niță - Pediatrician and Certified Lactation Consultant.
Under her guidance, the ABC team covered essential topics related to the child's motor, cognitive and emotional development, with direct application in aquatic education sessions, where the movement, interaction and rhythm of the little ones play a central role.
During these meetings, there was a detailed discussion about the innate reflexes of infants, especially those instinctively involved in moving in water, how they can be harnessed in safe and appropriate exercises for each stage of development, as well as about signs of discomfort and the child's adaptation to the new environment.
The medical component naturally merged with the psychological level, deepened through seminars coordinated by Psychologist Raluca Croitoru.
Over the past year, our team has participated in nine such meetings that brought up topics related to neural plasticity, early stimulation, socio-emotional development, and the child's ability to respond to environmental stimuli.
The information was presented in an applied manner, with concrete examples and scenarios from working with babies, giving specialists the necessary tools to adapt each water session according to the child's reactions and needs.
A key element of these meetings was the introduction of polyvagal theory, which allowed ABC aquatic specialists to better understand the child's distress and eustress signals and respond appropriately so that the child feels understood, protected, and comfortable in the environment.
This entire training process converges on one essential point: the relationship between the specialist and the child.
This connection, built with patience, predictability and emotional presence, is the basis of any successful session – it outlines the context in which the child can listen to their own rhythm and develop autonomously in a safe, warm and respectful environment.
Aquatic education becomes an effective and integrated tool in supporting early development, positively influencing the child's entire growth and learning trajectory.
At Acvatic Bebe Club, our priority is that every child who enters this universe feels safe, supported and understood.
"Alongside an informed and attentive specialist, the child has the opportunity to experience the joy of movement in the water in an environment where their rhythm is respected, autonomy encouraged and development is carefully guided" - Carmen Dumitru, Manager and Founder of Acvatic Bebe Club.
