Dear parents,
To ensure that each aquatic education and gymnastics session at our clubs is a safe, enjoyable and effective experience for the little ones, we invite you to carefully review the following administrative guidelines. These have been carefully designed, both for the smooth running of the activities and for the comfort of the children and parents.

I. Registration conditions

Medical certificate for the child. A statement from a pediatrician or family doctor confirming that the child is clinically healthy and fit to participate in the psychomotor stimulation program is required. This document is requested: 

  • upon initial registration, 
  • after any break of more than 4 consecutive weeks, 
  • or if the child had risk symptoms in the previous session (e.g. loose stools, fever, vomiting, rash, etc.).

The validity of the notice is 7 days from the date of issue until the date of the scheduled session. 

Copy of vaccination record. A copy of the child's vaccination record is required. 

(Optional) Medical certificate for the relative (companion in the water). If you want to be with your child in the water, you will need a medical certificate stating that you are clinically healthy. In the case of female companions, the result of a vaginal secretion analysis is also required. 

This notice is only necessary if the aquatic specialist considers your presence beneficial for the child and is valid for 7 days, from release until the date of the scheduled session. 

Other opinions. Additional opinions may be requested depending on particular medical situations. 

II. Scheduling and Rescheduling Sessions

III. Program changes

If the club cancels sessions for objective reasons (holidays, technical overhauls, etc.), the validity of the subscription will be automatically extended by the affected period.

V. Accommodation of the child

The parent who accompanies the child in the water has an affective, not a technical role. Compliance with the ABC specialist's instructions is essential. Activities such as diving, jumping or maneuvering without the approval of qualified club personnel are NOT allowed. 

The ABC specialist is the one who assesses whether the child is ready to participate without parental support in the water. If the parent's presence influences the session, the parent will be respectfully invited to leave the pool and watch the aquatic session from the waiting area. 

For good adaptation, it is preferable to avoid long breaks in the aquatic education program and maintain a consistent routine to avoid possible moments of anxiety, normal in young children. 

VI. Useful information for parents

Required equipment: 

  • Water diapers or briefs/swimsuit 
  • Slippers for wet areas 
  • Towel, shower gel, light snack after the aquatic education session. 

Last meal: At least 60 minutes before the start of the aquatic session. 

Shower is mandatory before the start of the session and optionally at the end, carried out by the accompanying adult. 

Locker room time: maximum 10 minutes – for sanitizing changing tables, tubs, and showers for the next scheduled baby & avoiding overcrowding of the space. 

Acclimatization: It is recommended 10 minutes before and 10–15 minutes after the session in the specially designed area, to allow the pores to completely close. 

ABC specialists: It is preferable not to condition your child's emotional dependence on a single person from our team of aquatic specialists. Adaptation is part of the learning process. 

Support your child in their own pace of acquiring aquatic skills. Our specialists are always ready to adapt ABC method so that the experience is always positive. Temporarily refusing to participate will not result in making up the session if you shorten the session or are absent. 

Parental access: Only 5 minutes after the start and 5 minutes before the end of the session, so as not to amplify the emotions generated by separation anxiety. 

Delays: Delayed minutes cannot be recovered (traffic, lack of parking space, etc.). 

Health status: Access to the pool is prohibited in case of contagious diseases, open wounds or acute symptoms (diarrhea, vomiting and/or fever). The ABC specialist may cancel the session in these cases. 

Access to the pool: Only with full attire: swimsuit, slippers, helmet and robe, as well as medical certificates – if the companion wishes to attend the entire session. 

Session duration: The time spent in the water is between 30 and 40 minutes., depending on the child's condition, the objectives of the session and their ability to exercise. Aquatic education sessions begin at the scheduled time, according to the confirmation message sent by the club the day before. 

VII. Validity period of an ABC service to be performed at the end of the validity period?

Our club subscriptions and services define three types of validity: 

Standard validity:

  • 4-session subscription: 5 consecutive calendar weeks from the first session 
  • 12-session subscription: 13 consecutive calendar weeks from the first session 
  • Genesis or Aquatic Gymnastics Session: 30 days from purchase, during which the session can be scheduled only once.

  • Send confirmation of payment of the fee via WhatsApp or email, maximum within 24 hours from the last day of validity of the current subscription. Otherwise, the remaining sessions will be considered overdue sessions, and the position held by the minor in the club's schedule (time slot) will be automatically canceled, until further notice. 

During this period, a maximum of two sessions per week can be performed. 
 

Please note that the validity period does not extend for seasonal colds or viruses. Plan more sessions during periods when the child is healthy.

VIII. About sessions not held on time

Outstanding session. It is a session not performed during the standard validity period. It can be rescheduled in the next 12 consecutive weeks, meaning the subscription will enter the non-standard validity period, without any obligation on the part of the club to keep the same time slot, the same ABC specialist and/or to mention in advance the name of the assigned aquatic specialist. Only one remaining session per week is accepted. 

The appointment will be made by written request (email, message or WhatsApp) to the club reception at least 48 hours before the desired time. 

Recoverable session: A session that was not held for justified reasons can be rescheduled as follows: 

  • Medical reasons: The absence must be medically justified, with relevant documents (medical report/letter, excluding pharmaceutical prescription) in the minor's name, sent to the club reception within 24 hours of the absence or prior notification of the absence, in writing, 24 hours before the appointment. 
  •  Rescheduling: The session can be rescheduled within the standard membership validity period, according to club policy. 

 If, after the standard validity period, there are still recoverable sessions to be performed and the parent wishes to keep the same time slot established by the initial contract and the same aquatic specialist (within reasonable limits possible), these can be: 

  • Carry over to a new subscription: If proof of payment for the new subscription is made within 48 hours of the last day of standard validity. Otherwise, the sessions will be considered overdue sessions and the club will cancel the position (time slot) held by the minor in the schedule. 
  • Perform within an extended standard validity.

IX. Unilateral termination of the contract

  1. Before the last day of completion of the standard validity period: 
    The beneficiary (parent/legal representative) decides and notifies the club's reception in writing (email, WhatApp message) of the unilateral termination of the contract, then the sessions not performed until the date of termination will be reimbursed in the amount of 50% (calculation example: in the case of a 4-session subscription, the parent decides after 3 sessions performed not to come to the last session, and is still within the standard validity period, will receive by bank transfer, within a maximum of 15 days from the written notification of termination of the contract, 50% of the value of the unperformed session).  

  2. After the standard subscription validity period has ended The parent no longer has the right to cancel or refund missed sessions.  

  3. Unilateral termination of the contract for a Genesis Session or a scheduled Aquatic Gymnastics session, the cost of the session will NOT be refundable and will be considered completed.
