Sesiunile de educație acvatică sunt special concepute pentru copii cu vârsta între 1 lună și 6 ani. În cluburile ABC,tratarea și dezinfecția apei se realizează prin intermediul unei instalații mixte bazate pe UV și ozon, cu efect direct asupra calității apei și a aerului din jurul piscinei. Apa din piscine este fără clor, are constant temperatura de de 32,5°C la cluburile ABC Decebal și ABC Primăverii și de 34°C la Clubul ABC Dorobanți, iar temperatura din aer este între 32,5°C și 33°C. Educația acvatică este procesul de reacomodare a bebelușului cu mediul acvatic unde, sub atenta îndrumare a specialiștilor, se pot stimula reflexe primare astfel încât achizițiile acvatice, fizice și cognitive să cunoască o dezvoltare timpurie și peste medie. Acestea sunt, de altfel, date confirmate de un studiu al Griffith University din Australia, realizat pe un eșantion de peste 7000 de copii. Beneficiile acestei activități, recunoscută drept singura activitate motrică ce poate fi începută din prima lună de viață, înseamnă: tonus muscular, încrederea în propriile forțe, inteligență emoțională și socială crescută, echilibrarea apetitului și somnului, siguranță în mediu acvatic, întărirea sistemului imunitar, îmbunătățirea coordonării și a echilibrului
Educația acvatică poate începe încă din primele luni de viață și are drept focus stimularea reflexelor primare. Înotul, prin care înțelegem deplasarea acvatică independentă, fără ajutorul obiectelor plutitoare, poate începe în jurul vârstei de 2-3 ani, însă procedeele de înot pot fi învățate începând cu vârsta de 4-5 ani.
